Old Fashioned Pumpkin Pie

1 large can pumpkin (1 pound 13 ounces)
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
3 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons ginger
1 teaspoon salt
4 eggs beaten
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup heavy cream (Eagle Brand)
2 unbaked 9 inch pie shells
1. Set oven to 350°.
2. Combine first eight ingredients, mix well.
3. Combine evaporated milk and cream, heat to scalding point
(bubbles begin to form on edges). Do NOT boil.
4. Add to mixture and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shells, bake
about 1 hour for 9-inch pies. Pie is done
when toothpick inserted comes out clean.
